Accessing & Navigating the Venue
The streets leading into the venue are easily accessible by wheelchair and scooters. Most of the venue, including Hart Plaza is accessible friendly. Please reference the map to become familiar with the location of the tunnel between Millender Center and the GM Renaissance Center, as well as the track crossing locations to assist with navigating the venue.

Viewing Options
Accessible seating is available in Grandstands 1, 3A, 8 and 9; prices vary. ADA reserved seating is located on an elevated flat platform at the front of the grandstand, accessible by a ramp on the side of the structure.

Accessible seating on the ADA platform is available to guests who have difficulty climbing grandstand stairs; a folding padded chair is provided.

The free viewing platforms along Jefferson Avenue can accommodate wheelchairs; there are no seats provided on the viewing platforms. There is also a free viewing platform located between Grandstand 3D and 4.

Track Crossing
The elevated walkway tunnel over Jefferson Avenue between the Millender Center and GM Renaissance Center is fully accessible and available throughout each event day; both buildings have an elevator. The Detroit People Mover which is fully accessible has stops in each building close to the tunnel entrance.

Street level track crossings are scheduled for short periods of time throughout each event day. Possible track crossing times are posted at each location. Refer to the map for street level crossing locations.

Wheelchair Shuttle Program
Wheelchair accessible golf carts are available as part of the shuttles operating along Jefferson Avenue and the Detroit Riverwalk. These carts will be used to operate an additional exclusive route between Hart Plaza and Spirit Plaza for guests in wheelchairs. Shuttle stops for this route are located on Jefferson Avenue west of Grandstand 3B and at the southwest corner of Larned and Woodward Avenue.

Seeking Assistance
We want your experience to be as stress-free as possible; volunteers have received training and are available to assist guests throughout the venue with directions, requests for first-aid medical help, shelter needs and navigating to grandstands or hospitality suites.
